Lorraine and Joey are packed and ready to go! Where to, you ask? They’re taking their entire Spring collection of Maloja North to Spokane, WA! So, if you catch this post and happen to be in Spokane, you are invited to an exclusive showing of the latest and greatest from Bavarian Soul: Saturday June 4th, 2pm, 1226 E. Rockwood Blvd (between Perry and Ivory). The trunk show will include everything from technical road and mountain biking shorts and jerseys, riding skirts, and windproof wool jackets to denim, bikinis, and casual tops for men and women. Bring your friends, bring your enemies, get excited! This is the coolest Summer gear EVER!
Smell Like Dirt
Spring has Sprung at Bavarian Soul! After a hard and fast hike up Carbonate in Hailey, Idaho this morning, we went straight to the shop to unpack more Spring/Summer Maloja gear. Box after box, its the straight up coolest stuff you’ve ever seen–functional fabrics and unique details combined with modern cuts in hues like Alpine Rose (hot pink), Buttercup (bright yellow), and Creek (vibrant blue). Perfect clothes to live out our quote of the day: “In the Spring, at the end of the day, you should smell like dirt.”
How it all began…
You could say it was love at first sight, the day we got hooked on Maloja. And it wasn’t just the clothes, it was the lifestyle. Lorraine discovered the German brand while visiting her birthplace and an idea was born. Could we really pick up and move to a beautiful mountain town, walk to the chairlifts from our condo, and ski every powder day? It sounded like a dream, but it was the Maloja life. Love of nature, adventure, and wearing the coolest clothes on the planet. Mother and son team, Lorraine and Carter Rowand, were on board. One year later, after a re-haul of a former donut shop in downtown Ketchum, Idaho, the boxes arrived and Bavarian Soul officially became the first boutique in the United States to sell Maloja.
